I may not agree with you, but I am glad you answered. At least I understand you better, I am trying. I know God Loves us all.
I think He wants us to love one another, not just those who love us, for what reward do we have, if that’s the case?

Why do you choose the King James Bible over the other perversions?
I teach a new converts class and a lady came up to me and asked this very question. I asked my pastor the same question right after I got saved in 1992. I have my reasons why but I would like to know yours.

Since its a translation, how is it that it gets some kind of preferential treatment over the others? People in America seem to be taken by the English spoken in the UK. I find that folks are also impressed with the early modern english spoken in the 16th century. The message needs that kind of language to be declared strong?
We know the English split from the Catholic Church because of Henry’s desire to divorce his wife because of her inability to give him his heir. So the context of liberalizing divorce is already in place when James authorized the translation by his scholars and scribes. How do we not know other liberties these guys might have taken under King James watchful eye?

I have heard people go as far as to say that if you were not using a KJV then you were using a false bible. Why is it that people adhere so doggedly to an outdated version of the bible that you must often get translated to understand?
