Luke Ch. 6 (James Earl Jones Narrarates – KJV Bible)

Luke 6:1-10 (King James Version) 1And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. 2And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? 3And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him; 4How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? 5And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. 6And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. 7And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. 8But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. 9Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? 10And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. 1And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he

Science – The Bible’s Best Friend (1 of 3)

The propaganda going on today atempts to pit Science VS. (against) the Bible, when in reality, Science is the Bible’s best friend. I am sick and tired of Anti-Christ’s constantly trying to make ridiculas claims that Science in some way dispels the Bible when in does the exact opposite and SUPPORTS the Bible. Here is another brief collection of videos showing our impressive God’s creation with the science of it highlighted.

Is there a King James bible only church that meets on Sabbath in Puget Sound area?

My wife and I are Sabbath (Saturday) keepers and are interested in finding a christian church that has their worship meetings on the Sabbath and only teaches/preaches from the Authorized Version/King James bible only. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
SDA churches I have found don’t often use the King James Version bible…they many times use the NIV, RSV, NASB and other corrupted modern translations stemming from the Jesuit work of Wescott and Hort from the 1800′s.

LOOKING FOR A KJV ONLY CHURCH…I appreciate the other comments however, am only interested in those who know of such a church/ or churches. Thanks! :)
…and to add…nothing against the SDA’s, they’re fine people with the truth. It just seems now that many of the *newer* SDA churches have allowed the use of these modern versions which has severely altered God’s words.

Value of 1772 King James Bible printed by Alexander Kincaid in Edinburgh, Scotland?

I recently purchased an old Bible completely intact and after researching it appears to be from 1772. There are no numbers, it is dated 1772 in roman numerals under the name of the printer Alexander Kincaid who turns out to have been a printer for King James. Any idea of the value? You would be shocked to know what I paid for it. It is completely intact and in quite remarkable shape for its age.

Thanks in advance.
I am not sure how to send an email through here, I am trying to send one to the person who asked me to share photos and it is not allowing me.

Secondly, one thing I forgot to mention. While researching this bible, I noticed information online that said the authentic versions in some cases used a 27th letter…..and it is a letter that looks like a mixture between and S and an F when the letter S is used in a word. This bible does infact use that 27th letter.
Sorry I forgot to mention one thing. There is at the back of the Bible the name Angus and its dated 1903 so it appears like this gentleman would have been given the Bible back in 1903 by someone, maybe a member of the family.
Correction: Thanks to the person who commented 4th. You are right and that is my typo. Kincaid was a printer and it would have been for King George. The Bible itself is King James version.

This Bible does include the apocrypha.

Satan’s versions show the KJB is God’s word by attacking it

The corrupt perversions all go after one book. The only logical and scriptural explanation is that the King James Bible truly is the very words of God, else Satan and his minions…er, ministers (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)…would have no reason to attack it so ferociously while promoting an attitude of peace and acceptance of the subjective preferences of anybody that doesn’t stand for absolute objective truth. “Oh, you just PREFER the King James? Welcome to our club!” If you really believe that nonsense, you’d better start preaching a gospel of just preferring Jesus Christ without confessing him as THE Lord, THE way, THE truth, and THE life or you are a complete HYPOCRITE! Paragraph 1 of NKJV preface: “In the preface to the 1611 edition, the translators of the Authorized Version, known popularly as the King James Bible, state that it was not their purpose “to make a new translation…but to make a good one better.” Indebted to the earlier work of William Tyndale and others, they saw their best contribution to consist in revising and enhancing the excellence of the English versions which had sprung from the Reformation of the sixteenth century. In harmony with the purpose of the King James scholars, the translators and editors of the present work have not pursued a goal of innovation. They have perceived the Holy Bible, New King James Version, as a continuation of the labors of the earlier translators, thus unlocking for today’s readers the spiritual treasures found

Why do “so-called” Christians use the King James Bible?

Wasn’t King James a homosexual?

Isn’t God’s actual name omitted from this bible?

Do we talk like the language used in the King James? (Thou, tis, shall)

This bible isn’t easy or simple to understand, I would think that God would want us to easily read and interpret already hard to figure out analogies and context of the bible.
There are many translations that exist today, but people refuse to use them.

Why isn’t anybody addressing the fact that King James was a flamboyant homosexual?
I don’t think that it is wrong to use the King James version of the bible, but I wouldn’t limit myself to just that kind of English terminology that may confuse many.
