Psalm 119 King James Holy Bible
Psalm 119 1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. 7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. 9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. 13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. 14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. 16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. 17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. 18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. 19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. 20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. 21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed …

@gotsumtn4u Should I do a redo, I’m sure you’d never notice as you are too much into your own pride. You judge the word of God by yourself rather than the other way around.
Here’s a biblical suggestion for you. Edification. Once you settle that one, please edify all of us with your recitation of the chapter.

vs. 7 MAJOR FLUB, :19 “is”, :20 FLUB, : 24 ALSO, :26 FLUB, :28 FLUB, :29 FROM, :31 FLUB, :36 “and do not?” ,… it’s “NOT TO!”, :51 DECLINED, not inclined, :70 delete “as”, :88 testimony is singular, :97 3rd word is LOVE, o, how LOVE I thy law, not how I love… :197 UNTO thy word, :112 has a TEXTUAL ERROR,… check out the KJV, should be ALWAY, not ALWAYS, :117 FLUB, :133 omit ANY, :138 righteous, not -ness, :142 FLUB.

just sayin’,…. would request a re-do! I recently memorized this chapter, and found myself enjoying the “sing-along”,… but when the recite is not what’s printed,… it’s not good. vs. 28 “UNTO”, and not “to” as you erred. vs. 25 is “to”, and 28 “UNTO” I’ll pick on you more later,…. REDO IT! The reading of perfect Word is deserving of at least a decent attempt… ALSO vs. 31 the Word says STUCK, not struct.

I know the author is unknown for this Psalm but if you look at the synatics and the stanza or even just listen to the our brother (person) call on him; the words he (I think it was a man) uses, similar to David – its hard to rule out it wasn’t David, however. But I know the author didn’t state for Psalm 119 “I am DAVID who writes this plead to win God’s favor”. This Psalm reminders me of Psalm 51. When David was crying out to God for comfort, forgiveness and restoration.

@realtalkgrace I know what you mean, however, David didn’t write this Psalm. Thank you for your kind words.

@joewasagrunt Praise the Lord and thank you very much. I remember this past summer this taking me about 3 takes to squeeze it into a 15 minute reading. The Lord was, indeed, with me that day.
