<a href="http://DividingWord.com">Dividing Word....</a>

First, as another mentioned, King James was not speaking here, nor did he translate this passage personally.

Second, Mecca is not mentioned in the King James Version - I have no idea why you added the word "Mecca" after the place name Paran. The bible indicates that Paran is in or borders the Sinai peninsula, on the south edge of Judah and on the way to Egypt from Judah.

Deu 33:2 in particular uses the place name Paran to designate mount Sinai itself.

Finally, as can be clearly seen, the passage in question was not prophetic but historic

Everything before and after the passage mentioning Paran is quite clearly in the past tense
a) the Lord came from Sinai and Seir
b) he shone forth from Paran, and came with 10,000 saints
c) and he had the Law for them in his right hand

Then the tense changes to present or future. You are mistaking a recap of recent (for Moses) history for a prophecy. If you would have read the 32 chapters that preceded this, you would be able to swiftly recognize this fact.

It seems similar to Habakkuk 3:3

God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

First of all King James didn't write the King James Bible he simply commissioned it.

As for the prophecy, my understanding of it is that many non believers in Jesus the Son of God will convert to Christianity before the end of days.
