King James converted the Bible into English. It was originally in Hebrew I believe. He bought it and sold it to western civilization.

He was the King of England sometime 17th century. But this King James BIBLE version was followed later by the NEW KING JAMES BIBLE VERSION using the british english. The King James version used the middle english or anglo-saxon english with their thous, thys and thees. The New International Version is using the International English version as there are many englsh like american english, even black american english, australian english, new zealand english, irish english, scottish englsh, falklands english, hongkong english, canadian english, alaskan english. I would like to know this as well and I been reading the bible for years and do not know. King James perhaps was a publishers that put all known scholars in text of previous saying of old and complied it into a bible. Before that time the people had no books that they could read in English.

Do a search on the internet, He was an open homosexual, he would write poetry about having relations with young boys. He was a *******.
They would call him Queen James, I am serious.
A book was written about it it is called King James and Letters of his Homoerotic Desires.

King James was responsible for countless witch burnings during his reign. The word “witch” appears frequently throughout the King James version of the Bible whereas in other translations it does not.
Ramona J. is correct. King James was also bi-sexual (not homosexual).

King James hired scholars to Translate the Bible into easier to understand English. The translators were committed to producing a precise translation of the original Hebrew, then later Greek language. The 1st King James Bible printed in English was A.D. 1611. KJV is considered one of the most accurate and readable. However there are other translations today, 1. New King James Version 2. New International Version, and 3. New American Standard Bible
