    Great series ! The KJV is the bible of God .. the new translations are nothing more than counterfeits, sad that so many are being deceived by the new translations.

    There are actually somewhere close to 3800 word differences between the first 1611 edition and the 1917 Oxford Scofield Edition. The Pure Cambridge Edition is best, and it is slightly closer to the 1611 Edition.

    These differences to the 1611 Edition are the correction of typographical errors, standardisation of the language (e.g. spelling), and other editorial regularisation.

    There are no real cases of underlying textual or translation changes.

    There should be no more editing.
