I try to worship God all day long with His help with all thing. The 7th day is His day. That day I set aside for Him, not the first day of the week.
Genesis 2:2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
God sanctified the seventh day way, way before any Jew was born.

Hey I’m just going to do Proverbs 14:7 and say way from you and false bibles that are missing thing, fulfillment of prophecy. Mark 15:28 then look at Isa.53:12.
And remember God’s true word isn’t missing any thing Because He is complete and not missing any thing ether. John.1:14
The sabbath never changed to sunday. The Sabbath is a covenant.
Exodus 31:16
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Where did I say the Sabbath was changed or replaced? I stated Christians worshipped on the first day of the week as well as on the Sabbath. Once the synagogues expelled the Jewish Christians and they became assimilated into the now much larger Church, the worship became centered more and more on the first day. By 150 A.D., worship is clearly on the first day.

More of the nonsese of those who want to confuse the Law and the Gospel. You complain about taking things out of the Bible but apparently must not have either the commandment to not bear false witness and Acts 15 in yours.

It is the absuridity of those who think the Church must operate exactly like it at a certain time that causes so much confusion. Even the Apostles recognized this and added things as they went along to meet the changing nature of the Church. There were no deacons at the beginning or presbyters or episkopoi but by the end ot the apostolic age there were all of these.

Only if you are looking upon every item in Acts as though it must be emulated to the letter. Obviously with a smaller group at the beginning, meeting in houses was quite a practical thing to do. As the Church grew, it was no longer the case and they would rent areas and even later wealthy Christians would donate large villas (called “domus ekklesia”) to act as places of worship.

If Acts 20:7 is the definitive proof we need to validate Sabbath being changed from the seventh day to the first day of the week, then all Sunday keeping churches must…
* Hold church at NIGHT
* Hold church EVERY NIGHT
* Hold church TILL THE BREAK OF DAY

The question then is, are they saying this a church service because they broke bread, and since it was on the first day it must mean the Sabbath was changed? Problem with that thought is, in Acts 2:46 it says that they normally continued “daily breaking bread from house to house.” Since they define this is a church service, this must be the format the church must emulate today.

CLAIM #1 Acts 20:7 And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
This meeting was held at night. If you read on you also find in the next verse it mentions the “many lights in the upper chamber. Later in verse 11 it also states after they ate, Paul talked a long while, even till break of day.

And so any why God new that the sabbath would be changed that’s why in the ten commandments in Exodus God used the word (remember) He know that it would be changed later. Exo 20:8
God would not have used the word remember if His sabbath wasn’t going to be changed He would most likely have just said to keep the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 1Pe.1:16. So who say’s that they changed the sabbath from saturday to sunday? The pope he says that he has the divine power to do so. Did you read Dan.7:25

The first definition of Christian is to be a follower of Christ. Every thing Christ did was to be a exampled to use to do. Do you agree with that? Chris·tian (kr¹schn) adj. 1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Christ did a lot on the sabbath He healed and mainly taught on the sabbath.
(Mar 1:21b) ; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

Seventh-day Adventist Church
(Ellen White) Most likely had a lot of false teaching’s, it was most like false doctrines, what version did she use? It most likely was not the K.J.V but a translation from the Alexandrian manuscript’s. If she did you say that she was a false teacher right. False teaching’s come from a false doctrine and false doctrine’s comes from false translations that are ether 100% in agreement with the Alexandrian manuscript’s or about 80% no less than that.

“I don’t really care what any particular Catholic priest or newspaper says.”
That particular article is notoriously over quoted. And I lived in London
…no i’m not that old.
Funny he refuses to refer to actual teachings. Well….not so funny. He is an acolyte of Ellen White.

And what so called Bible would that be?? If you mean one that has the Apocryphal books, may I remind you that the KJV had them in it in 1611 and so did the Byzantine manuscripts?? By choosing to follow historical ignorance and believe lies, you have just proven yourself one who cares not for the truth but just wants to believe the worst of others. You are a bearer of false witness and one who wishes to obscure the Gospel of grace with the manmade laws of KJV-onlyism and the liar Ellen White.

It’s funny how you will call the Catholic Church liars on everything but choose to believe individual Catholics when it suits you. The sheer hypocrisy is stunning but I suppose it is consistent with the complete inconistencies of the false prophet Ellen White who was a proven serial liar.

I don’t really care what any particular Catholic priest or newspaper says. The historic fact is that the early Church worshipped among themselves on the first day of the week and this occurred long before Contantine or papal power. You can see the witness to it in the Didache in the Apostolic Age and in the earliest writings of the Christians.
labarum312 on 01 Oct 2009 at 2:16 pm #
KING JAMES Bible
Every record we have of the early Jewish Christians mentions that they observed the Sabbath in the synagogues and then worshipped among themselves the first day for the “breaking of bread” and specific Christian teaching. You see this in Acts 20:7 and Paul instructs the Corinithians to take up a collection on the first day of the week. This would only be done on a day of worhship.

Given our exchange on an earlier episode of this series and how you made one ridiculous statement after another and how I exposed each one as a fraud, I would have hoped the intervening month or two would have given you some time to think about how your sources are totally without merit. But here you go with more nonsense.
