    KING JAMES Bible

The KJV is extremely inaccurate. A beautiful translation, absolutely, but inaccurate. Like the NIV, it is not translated from Greek and Hebrew, but from Latin, not unlike most English translations. It is able to make this claim because Latin is the intermediate langauge for English translations from ancient languages. However, Latin too has its limitations, and as such, modern English is unable to present a clear translation of ancient text. Those who say it is accurate are not scholars.

    KING JAMES Bible

7000 times? are you kidding? actually read a book about textual criticism. the rv and Niv and esv came from the greek just like the 1611. actually do research about it and do not make bogus statements like this. the kjv is a great bible but do some research then some other than KJV only person. by doing that it shows that you do not want to see answers. have you ever thought that the KJV has some minor translation errors? God’s inspired word is in the languages he wrote it in andwe translated it

So you are against the KJV? Why would you want to study something that is not inspired by God? No sir you are the fool who is deceived.

    Revelation 22:18
    Proverbs 30:6
    Deuteronomy 4:2

Use the King James to look those up. And further more why would you read a Bible that takes out over 40 Bible verses and changes so many words and meanings?

How often do you go out and go soul winning?

No. You are lying. I said, “You talk and act like a ***.”

Now, I know that lying against the body of Christ and lying against Jesus Christ (as you do) is a difficult habit to break. But I will pray that you will find repentance and receive forgiveness.

I can assure you that a will never come around to your *** brand of “christy-anity” and Pansievangelicalism.

    Grow some.

    And you don’t think you’re a fool?

Due to your unrepentant heart, I sadly must have nothing to do with you. I’m sorry, but I must follow what I’ve been taught by my savior. I hope that someday you’ll come around…

Seriously, we’re ambassadors for the kingdom of Jesus Christ. We REPRESENT Jesus here on earth. This is how you make it look? You’re my brother, and I love you, but you’ve GOT to learn how to act around those who may disagree with you. I’m pleading with you to stop with all this hatred and to begin to act more Christ-like toward others. The change in our hearts should be evident to those around us. I invite you to read all your own comments and look at the character that you show.

Okay, seriously bbfohio, I can understand the passion you have for this whole KJVO stuff. Where I may strongly disagree with you on such a position, I’m setting that aside for now to call you out in the name of Jesus Christ.

Watch your mouth and be more respectful. If someone disagrees with you, that doesn’t give you license to treat them like crap. Jesus called all Christians to be compassionate, not angry and malicious. I’m sick of seeing you treating so many people like a little kid.

And that the sun revolves around the earth.
And that humans are made of dirt.
And that snakes, donkeys, and bushes talk.
And that animals appeared AFTER man but BEFORE woman.

Just because you read some educated idiot who found similarities between the Decalogue and other relgions and claims Moses plagiarized doesn’t make it so.

You and the educated idiots you read are shameless.

Man ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since then, man has basically known right from wrong. Moses was given specifics and given clarifications and “revisions” of what had been in practice previously among Hebrews and others.

Accusing Moses of plagiarism is CHILDISH.

If the Bible is a myth, explain the fact that ALL archeaological discoveries VERIFY the historical content . Come up with something other than your egotostical self-adulation and condescending attitude toward those with a functioning brain, please.

Explain world renown archaeologist William F. Albright who attests to it’s historical credibility. Explain the discovery of Ninevah, the Temple of Dagon, the cave of Macpelah, the Temple Mount, the garden tomb, Jericho…

    bbbfohio, you are babbling.
    I have not switched horses,
you just have a comprehension problem.
Perhaps the same one that prevents your learning
    a simple language like German.
My point is and has always been
that in the KJV the word translated “Easter”
    was an intentional mistranslation.
I have no interest in your various versions,
the entire book is merely a record of a MYTH
    invented by frightened desert dwellers
    back in the bronze age.

EVERY new Bible translates the Greek word “Iesou” in Acts 7:45 as “Joshua” which is an ERROR (by your standards).

The word in every Greek text is “Iesou” & is translated 975 times.

In the KJV it’s translated “Jesus” 975 times.

But your new bibles it translated “Jesus” 974 times and “Joshua” ONCE. Why?

Because your new translation editors think they are smarter than God and forget the TYPE (Paul calls “shadow”) of Joshua in the Old Testament fulfilled by Jesus in the New.

    They kill it.

First, your 44 years of study of the Bible is comparable to my 40 year study of German. I still can’t speak a lick.

Your reasoning was stated previously, so don’t go changing boats in midstream. You SAID it was “silly” (not a mistranslation) and that the error is seen in the KJV, not in some Greek text.

But, since you switched… let’s look at the crooks… the liars… the cheats and HYPOCRITES putting out your new bibles. They ALL do the SAME thing in Acts 7:45…
